3.1 Women’s Association in USA is established to honor and celebrate the sacrifice and contributions of brave Korean women who played a crucial role in the Korean independence movement.  


March 1st , 1919 is a very important date for all Koreans and Korean Americans as it marks the celebration of independence and end of colonization.  


In this 3.1 spirit, we strive to implant the national spirit, cultivate the love of our motherland, establish identity as Koreans with a sense of sovereignty, educate the true history of our nation, inspire present and future generation, and contribute to our society and communities

MEMORIAL  EVENTS:       

*March 1st  movement  of  1919;      August 15th Independence Day of 1945

*Dosan Chang Ho Ahn,  Susan Ahn Cuddy Memorial  events

PATRIOTIC ACTIVITIES:  

*Memorial service for 3.1. martyrs,  heroes & participants

*Reveal the truth regarding WWII war crime:    Comfort  women

*Keeping the sovereignty of  Dokdo           

*Field trips to historical locations in Korean history

*Events and gatherings with families & friends of 3.1 movement

    participants

*A Korean flag event…lessons and making         

* Non-Korean Speakers Speech Contest
